Your first visit to our office helps our dentists and team become familiar with your oral health needs and develop a plan for your ongoing care. During this appointment, we will perform a full exam, including a visual inspection, periodontal evaluation, oral cancer screening and analysis of your bite. We will closely examine your teeth and supporting structures, and we may use digital X-rays or other imaging technology to check for tooth decay, bone loss or other dental problems. All of this is designed to help us evaluate the health of your gums and teeth so that we can diagnose and treat any developing problems.

After we have examined your mouth, our dentists will go over the results with you so that you can gain a better understanding of your oral health.
